The department got contacted by Make a Forest, a global and collaborative art and design project on initiative of the United Nations. Boudewijn Rosman, of Eenopeenarchitecten, and a former teacher from the department offered his renovated gallery in Finsterwolde. The gallery got closed in 2003, and this exhibition on the 13th of october was the re-opening. The first and second year students arrived on the 10th in Galerie Waalkens in the small town Finsterwolde. Boudewijn welcomed them by taking them on a trip through the town. To know the surrounding and the history of the place. On the second day the students began brainstorming and working on a concept and construction for the exhibition. The students decided to give each idea his own niche, and then they devided the group to work on the different projects.
