Lectures with Hans van der Made and ENNEAD LAB: One Extreme

Urban planner Hans van der Made (City of Amsterdam) has been involved in the planning and realisation of Al Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan. He will provide insights in the project and the challenges he and his colleagues were faced with. ENNEAD LAB, part of the New York-based ENNEAD buro, is commissioned by Stanford University and the UNHCR to do research on design methodologies for refugee camps. Don Weinreich and Eliza Montgomery from ENNEAD will tell about this.
The new series of 1·Lectures is structured around various recurring themes: One Catalog, One Era & One Extreme.
Unless stated otherwise the lectures take place at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, Waterlooplein 213 in Amsterdam. They are held on Thursday evenings, starting at 8 PM.
Tickets
Tickets cost € 5 and can be purchased up front on the website of undefinedArcam. Furthermore, tickets are on sale at the door on the evening of the lecture, starting at 7.30 PM (when in stock). Academy students receive free entry on presentation of their student card. The official language is English.
