Hortus Project @ Kunstvlaai

The second years of our department had the chance to exhibit their sketch designs of the work in progress for de Green Capital Project at Kunstvlaai.

The main objective of the Green Capital Course is to integrate the unique collection of The VU Hortus – it wil be dipsosed of by the VU – with the Zuidas developments especially in this area as a ‘booming’ financial district.
Last Thursday was a highlight at the panel discussion, where visitors of the Kunstvlaai and professionals were invited to exchange their views on the issue as well. Both Arcadis as the VU Hortus were very positive about some of the proposals!

The next oppurtunity to see the models and developments will be in June 2013, where the models will be shown at de VU Hortus.
