On Friday the 8th, there will be a national manifestation in The Hague against the proposed cuttings in cultural life in Holland by the new right-wing government. Students, artists, art-consulents, curators, art-critics, theatermakers, writers, musicians and art-lovers in general will come together to have their voice heard.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the question of the effects of such a manifestation, apart from the question of \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcwhose side are you on\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, and how to choose the best strategy to protest, I think this mass demonstration will be a great opportunity for students who signed in to my \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcRadicalism \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Up my ass\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 projectgroup, to go together to The Hague, and see how democracy nowadays works, how protests are being fuelled, and to what effects.<br \/>\nAre we too active to act, or not?<\/p>\n<p>Practical stuff:<br \/>\nStartingpoint manifestation 11 o\u00e2\u20ac\u2122clock, Plein, The Hague (next to the building of the Tweede Kamer)<br \/>\nDresscode: black<\/p>\n<p>For more details about this manifestation, check:<a href=\"http:\/\/kunstklimaat.wordpress.com\/\"> http:\/\/kunstklimaat.wordpress.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TOO ACTIVE TO ACT?
